If your motor has a clamp that clamps inside the splash guard, you will need to purchase this mirror clamp adapter to mount it on a tilt and trim unit or socket plate for standard full-size motor mounting. Some motors are too big for a small tilt plate, trim plate, or socket plate, but you need an adapter to fit a large plate. This adapter kit enables you to quickly and simply attach your preferred mirror clamp to the motor. The Transom Clamp Adapter Kit is for mounting the motor mounted on the PT130 with a mirror clamp.
